She uses remix as a strategy for engaging networked audiences in critical participation. A Professor and Area Head of Design + Creative Practice in the School of Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication at The University of Texas at Dallas, burrough is the Creative Director of LabSynthE, a laboratory for synthetic and electronic poetry.
