If you want to know what God's will is for your life, you will find it best fulfilled in the life of Jesus Christ. As the Son of God who has fuilfilled the Law and the Prophets, you can begin your search for the specifics of this plan in both the Old and New Testaments. Hosea is one of the best OT references, in his words, (God) has told you, O mortal, what is good and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8.) You cannot do better as far as Jesus is concerned, than subscribe to those pieces he called the First and Second Great Commandments: 1. Love God with all your heart and soul and mind and strength; and 2, Love your neighbor as yourself.
