Devin's family are all dressed up for Nanabapa's Big Birthday, and everyone looks FABULOUS—but Devin doesn't have anything special to wear. Then, he spots one of Amaya’s skirts, lying on her bed: it's the deepest, bluest blue and so very, very shimmery . . . So, Devin puts the skirt on.

Lucy Fleming has been an avid doodler and bookworm since early childhood. She has an honors degree in Illustration and is the creator of Ella's Night Lights, as well as the illustrator of several books, including River Rose and the Magical Christmas, written by singer Kelly Clarkson. She lives in England.
